Each month, we're spotlighting one of our CANVAS Style friends to let you meet & learn a bit more about some of the faces that pop up on our Instagram. They're answering our go-to ice-breakers and sharing some of their favorite CANVAS Style pieces.
This month, we talked with Kalyn Letizia of @styleherstrong. We love seeing her preppy, colorful style, her sweet family and their fun travels. Be sure to give her a follow!
Get to know Kalyn
1. What is your go-to hostess gift to bring to a party?
A champagne or wine bottle depending on the hostess' preference wrapped in a tea towel I know she will love.
2. What’s your favorite cocktail?
Margarita or Aperol Spritz
3. What’s your favorite place to travel? Where do you want to go next?
My family traditionally goes to Bald Head Island, North Carolina every summer. You take a ferry over to the island, and there are no cars allowed-only bikes and golf carts! It's my little slice of heaven and I always look forward to the slower pace.
4. What is your favorite holiday to decorate for?
Without a doubt, Christmas. We put up several trees throughout our house and I love that each has it's own theme. My favorite tree is the one filled with my kids' homemade ornaments!
5. What’s your # tip for hosting?
Prepare as much as you can in advance. I always set the table, pull out dishes we will be using, and meal prep as much as I can the day before to make things go more smoothly the day of. I want to be able to enjoy my guests and not stress about the details, and preparing ahead always helps me to do just that!
6. What’s your favorite CANVAS Style piece or collection?
It's impossible to choose a favorite because I love the variety Canvas Style offers but I would have to say I have been wearing the Resort Collection on repeat since the weather finally feels like summer!
